Message	I personally think it would not be up to par, based on capacity, you still need p.s.i. to lay the paint down, even though that gun is small. Sounds like a compressor is the biggest hurdle you have, what I would do is upgrade compressor, such as a craftsmen 6hp 20 gallon, then go to harbor freight and buy a $50 hvlp gun, should be fine.
